Wm. Williams of Belmont Co. for and in
consideration of improvements here in mentioned do lease unto John Brown the following
land:
Cornering at clearing between the houses there to include a
reasonable dooryard there Easterly course to section line thence South on section line to
the big run thence down the run to another section line thence North to the foot of the
hill thence Westerly under foot of the hill to section line thence Northward corner with
the little ___ to the bordered line of said Wm. Williams tract thence West to top of the
hill thence South through clearing to beginning.
Pact of SW gr of Sect 14 and Sect 20 SE gr) Twp 5 Ref to
John Brown his natural life if he departs this life before his wife Barbara she is to hold
all property during her life.
John to have without charge or pay any and all timber for
use of said tract of ground and for fire use and coal for fire use.
Party of said to agree to build and finish a hewed log
dwelling house and to fence clear and make such improvements as John Brown shall
think necessary for his own convenience at John Brown's desecration.
